Our membership consists of two GUIDE categories: Certified Tour Guides (CTGs) who have completed a three part test, and Candidate Guides who have not yet taken the test. We also have Associate Members who are often Destination Management or Transportation companies,  venues, or other affiliated organizations that are involved in tourism and help promote professionalism in the greater Chicago area. Finally, we have a few Honorary Members and some non-working Friend Members, who are interested in Chicago tourism.

All members speak English and many members also work in a foreign language. You may search the directory for members that speak other languages or those who give specialty tours by using key words in the Search box.

The content you see below is controlled by each member.  Profiles are written by the member and their foreign language proficiency is self determined.  CTPA has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the directory listing content.
